For too long, working people have been pitted against one another: split by race, immigration status, and even the neighborhoods we call home. We’ve been fed the lie that our communities must compete with each other for what we need.

The truth is, our struggles have always been bound together. Every single one of us deserves for our schools to be fully funded, grocery stores in our neighborhoods, and our streets to be safe. When we unite, we can build the kind of leverage that bulldozes through political stagnation, forces change, and unlocks opportunity for all of us. It comes from us: working people coming together and having each other’s backs.
